Walk By Faith

Hebrews 11:1 ~ Tells me that faith is the substance of things hoped for the evidence of things not seen.

At this point in time in my life I'm currently facing quite a few storms all at once. The more I seem to pray the more I feel like another burden arises. It seems to be one problem after another. In my mind I'm asking God so many questions. Did I do something wrong?  If so, I repent. Am I not aligned up with Your Word Lord? If so, I surrender to Your work, and Your will for my life. Did I make a covenant with someone or something that was not of the Holy Spirit? If so, Lord reveal this to me so I can come out of covenant with it. At this point in my life  Lord, I surrender!

I sometimes ask God why? God has never said I could not ask why?

God often allows things to become more than we can bear because it reminds us that we need Him, especially when things are hard. You must get to the point where you can surrender your need for control and truly give it to God and not take it back. God allows us adversity so we can lean upon His strength and become stronger through His Spirit. In Hebrews 12:11, we read that we face adversity and discipline because it is a benefit “for those who have been trained by it.” Our troubles are part of our spiritual training. Are you in a place where you need to surrender and lean on Christ completely? I know I am... In Proverbs 3:5-6 (KJV) it states: "Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.

I'm not saying everything we go through is from the Lord, what I am saying is surrender it to the Lord. I have learned to look for the Lord in the mist of the storm. I ask Him, Lord where are You in this mess? Then I lift my eyes up to the hills from which my help comes from.

Psalm 121:1 "I lift up my eyes to the hills-- where does my help come from? My help comes from the LORD, the Maker of heaven and earth. indeed, he who watches over Israel will neither slumber nor sleep. the sun will not harm you by day, nor the moon by night."

Then I begin to encourage myself with the promises of the Lord.

"The LORD himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged" appears in Deuteronomy 31:8. In Hebrews 13:5, which says, "I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee".

Then when I have a need I remind the Lord of His Word in Psalm 37:25 (KJV) Yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread". I tell myself that, "I can do all things through Him who strengthens me", Philippians 4:13. I have to remind myself that God is always with me and that though I’m going through He is right here with me.

In times of need, I recall the Lord's promise in Psalm 37:25 (KJV): "Yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread." I remind myself of Philippians 4:13, "I can do all things through Him who strengthens me." It is essential to remember that God is always present with me, and even during challenging times, He is by my side.

Prayer:

Father, I thank You for waking me up this morning. I thank you for blessing me with another day of life. I surrender my will this morning. I come out of agreement with anything that is not of You. I come into agreement with Your will for my life. Lord take everything, I don’t want it, I don’t need it if don’t please You Lord I don’t want it. Lord, I invite You to come into my life today and take over. I ask You to give me clean hands and a pure heart upon today. Order my steps today and speak through me. Use me as You see fit. I surrender. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
